Adele E. Lakatosh

SELINSGROVE - Adele E. (Meszaros) Lakatosh, 85, formerly of Lewisburg, died on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born on June 8, 1938 and was the daughter of the late John and Isabel (Posta) Meszaros.

On May 30, 1958, Adele married the late John L. Lakatosh and they celebrated 58 years of marriage together until his death on March 8, 2018.

She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Lewisburg and enjoyed cooking, reading, crafts and coloring.

Adele is survived by one son; Charles Lakatosh of Waynesboro, three daughters and sons-in-law; Linda E. and David Reynolds of Archdale, NC, Deborah A. and Jeff Baker of Mazeppa and Denise I. and Steve Dunkelberger of Middleburg and four grandchildren; Aaron Reynolds, Megan (Ian) Spotts, Addison Dunkelberger and Kendall Reynolds.

In addition to her parents and husband, Adele was preceded in death by an infant sibling and one brother; John Victor Meszaros.

A gathering of friends and family will take place from 10:00 – 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton followed by a Celebration of Life Service with The Reverend Matthew Larlick of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, officiating.  Burial will follow in Mazeppa Cemetery, Lewisburg.
