Barbara Aikey

MILTON - Barbara A. (Troup) Aikey, 81, died Thursday, May 09, 2019 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born on March 29, 1938 in Sunbury and was the daughter of the late Paul L. and Mary A. (Conraid) Troup.

On April 27, 1959 Barbara married the late Roy F. Aikey, Sr. and they celebrated 52 years of marriage together until his death on August 22, 2011

She was a member of Mifflinburg Church of New Life and enjoyed crocheting, reenactments, family pow wows, gardening, flowers and really enjoyed fishing.  Most of all Barbara loved spending time with her family.

Barbara is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Roy F. and Sharon Aikey, Jr. of Milton, four daughters and one son-in-law; Tammie L. Church of Milton, Tina M. Sauers of Milton, Teresa L. AIkey of Verno Beach, Fla and Lorraine A. and Richard Derr of Lewisburg, 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and two brothers; Paul and Charles Troup both of Sunbry.

All services for Barbara are being handled privately at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
