David Boyer

LEWISBURG - David W. Boyer, 63, died Saturday, April 11, 2020 at Rolling Hills Manor, Millmont.

He was born in Danville on September 13, 1956 and was the son of the late Russell L. Boyer and Gloria L. (Buckley), who survives of Lewisburg.

David was a graduate of Danville High School Class of 1974 and went on to work for Textron in Williamsport and earned several certifications during his 20 plus year career with them.

He was a giving person who enjoyed; golfing, Nascar racing, Baltimore Orioles, Penn State Football, Oakland Raiders, going out to eat, feeding the animals and cooking.  Most of all David was a very selfless person who would rather give to someone than to receive anything back in return.

In addition to his mother, David is survived by one sister and brother-in-law; Laurie and Rick Lindner of Sun City, AZ, one uncle; David R. Buckley and one aunt; Ruby Buckely along with numerous cousins.

In addition to his father, David was preceded in death by four uncles and two aunts.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the S.P.C.A. 2801 Bloom Road, Danville, PA 17821.

Services will be announced at a later date at the convenience of the family.
