Dora L. Peters

HUGHESVILLE - Dora L. (Moore) Peters, 93, died Monday, February 5, 2024 at the Wolf Run Village, Hughesville.

She was born in Huntington, West Virginia on September 7, 1930 and was the daughter of the late Lee A. and Victoria V. Moore.

Dora was married to the late Marice E. Peters until his death in 1999.

She was self-employed and worked as a home care aide.  

Dora is survived by one son; Timothy B. Moore of Rowell, Ohio, one grandson; Timothy J. Moore of Rowell, Ohio, three brothers; Howard R. Moore of Ohio, Samuel I. Moore of Alaska, Ray A. Moore of Ohio and Earl Moore of Ohio and three sisters; Sally Lawhorne of Phoenix, Arizona, Violet Stevens of West Virginia and Kay Brewer of Florida.  

In addition to her parents and husband, Dora was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

All services for Dora are being handled privately at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
