Dora A. Staehler

WATSONTOWN - Dora A. Staehler, 67, died Saturday, November 16, 2024 at her home.

She was born in Fon Du Lac, Wisconsin on November 2, 1957 and was the daughter of the late Daniel E. and Doris A. (Meisterknecht) Staehler.

Dora was a graduate of West Islip High School, New York, Class of 1976. She then went on to attend Wilson Tech and earned her LPN degree. Dora worked for various nursing homes as a LPN and loved caring for those she worked with.

She was of the Lutheran faith and enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family and friends. She was truly a loving person who loved life.

Dora is survived by two sons; Daniel W. Heim of Williamsport and Andrew J. Heim of Long Island, New York, one daughter; Erika M. Heim of Long Island, New York, one brother; Billy Staehler of Bay Shore, New York, one sister and brother-in-law; Paula and John Heim of Hawley, three nephews; Michael Staehler, Paul Heim and James Heim, one niece; Nicole Staehler and her dear friends; Barbara Barbusca and Maureen Vassallo.

All services for Dora are being handled privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
