MILTON - Emily J. (Plotts) Printzenhoff, 90, died Friday, March 11, 2022 at Watsontown Nursing & Rehab Center.
She was born on July 15, 1931 in Watsontown and was the daughter of the late Austin Larue and Ilda M (Gray) Plotts, Sr.
On March 7, 1949 Emily married the late Frank E. Printzenhoff and they celebrated 62 years of marriage together until his death on June 27, 2011
She was a member of Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton and enjoyed life to the fullest. Emily loved to bake, cook, play scrabble and pinochle and spending time with her entire family. She was very involved with her church and along with her husband they went on numerous missions trips here in the states and abroad. She also volunteered at the Woman’s Crisis Pregnancy Center. Emily was a part of so many people’s lives over the years that all knew her as gram.
Emily is survived by four sons and three daughters-in-law; Gary A. and Jacquline K. Printzenhoff of Danville, Timothy W. and Cinda L. Printzenhoff of Milton, Kenneth F. and Tammie J. Printzenhoff of Watsontown and Brian T. Printzenhoff of Milton, one daughter and son-in-law; Lesley J. and David M. Seibert of Milton, one daughter-in-law; Kim L. Miller of Cogan Station, 21 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and two brothers; Frank A. Plotts and Richard L. Plotts.
In addition to her parents and husband, Emily was preceded in death by one son; Phillip D. Printzenhoff, one daughter-in-law; Terry L. Printzenhoff, one granddaughter; Kristin Sue, two great granddaughters; Peyton McHale and Kirstin Lind, four brothers; A. Larue Plotts, Jr., Earl W. Plotts, Boyd L. Plotts and Roger L. Plotts and three sisters; Aladean M. Aikey, Donna L. Westley and Carolyn P. Bowersox.
A viewing will be held from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 14, 2022 at Christ Wesleyan Church, 363 Stamm Road, Milton. A celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Ken Paulhamus officiating. Please use the Davis Chapel entrance for the services. Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton. Burial will take place in Watsontown Cemetery at a later date.
