Frank Nickey

MILTON - Frank E. Nickey, 51, died Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Milton Nursing & Rehab Center.

He was born in Lewisburg on January 12, 1968 and was the son of Joseph and Nancy (Miller) Nickey, who survive, of Milton.

Frank was a graduate of Milton High School Class of 1986.  He was a diehard Milton Panthers Sports supporter having helped with several sports as a manager and statistician.  He was active with the Milton Little League serving as a coach and board member.  Frank was also an avid fan of Penn State football and wrestling, Duke basketball, Los Angeles Dodgers and Oakland Raiders.

He was resident of the Milton Health & Rehab Center where he was very active in many patient activities.  He considered everyone there as his second family.

In addition to his parents, Frank is survived by one son; Joseph David “JD” Nickey of West Virginia, who he loved deeply, one brother and sister-in-law; Joe and Chris Nickey of Milton, two sisters and one brother-in-law; Sue Nickey Gomez of Myrtle Beach, SC and Peg Nickey Hafer and Marc Hafer of Durham, NC. along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Milton Booster’s Club, P.O. Box 13, Milton, PA 17847

A memorial service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.  Burial will take place at a later date at the convenience of the family in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
