Gordon E. Murray

DANVILLE - Gordon E. Murray, 55, died Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at Grandview Nursing home, Danville.

He was born in York and was the son of the late Gordon E. Williams and Edith (Murray).

Gordon worked for various places around the valley.  He enjoyed music, basketball, football, talking and making friends with whomever he came into contact with.

He is survived by two sons; Isaiah Murray of Mifflinburg and Ishmael Murray of Sunbury, two daughters; Selina Murray of Sunbury and Asia Murray of Sunbury, five grandchildren; Noah Burns, Malikai Burns, Everett Farley, Tobius Burns and Kingston Walter, one brother; Tyrone Murray of Texas and seven sisters; Lori Murray of Arizona, Tyanna and Tyrone McMillan, Peggy Williams, Ann Williams, Caroline Rice, Bridgette Williams all of York and Michelle King of Harrisburg.

A Celebration of life service will be held at 10:00 A.M., on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at Brookside Ministries Church, 11 Stetler Ave., Shamokin Dam, PA 17876 with pastor Jerry Helman officiating.  Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
