Ione Grow

Milton - Ione D. (Hans) Grow, 88, died Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Milton Nursing & Rehab, Milton.

She was born in Turbot Township on December 9, 1929 and was the daughter of the late Harry R. and Edna Mae (Burns).

On February 20, 1948 Ione married Paul J. Grow, who survives, and they celebrated 69 years of marriage together last year.

Ione attended Christ Wesleyan Church, Milton.  She enjoyed reading her bible, going to church, painting ceramics, playing games, cooking and baking but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband Paul, Ione is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law; Russell J. and Debra Grow of Milton, Stephen P. and Mary Grow of York and Scott R. and Tammi Grow of Lancaster, one daughter; Debra M. Sticek of Milton, 11 grandchildren; Robert, Roxanne, Michelle, Joshua, Justin, Brandon, Colby, Zachary, David, Kendall and Alex, six great grandchildren, and one brother and sister-in-law; Paul and Polly Hans of Turbotville along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to her parents, Ione was preceded in death by five brothers; Freeman, Harvey, Elwood, Harry and Roger and five sisters; Alma, Catherine, Erma, Grace and Daisy.

A public viewing will be held from 12:30 - 1:30 P.M., Friday, September, 7, 2018 at Christ Wesleyan Church, Davis Chapel, 363 Stamm Road, Milton, PA 17847 followed by the funeral at 1:30 P.M. with pastor Mike Sweigard officiating.  Burial will follow in McEwensville Cemetery.  Local arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
