James Moyer, Jr.

LEWISBURG - James J. “Jim” Moyer, Jr., 75, died Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village, Lewisburg.

He was born in Lewisburg on July 3, 1946 and was the son of the late James J. and Elizabeth Mae (Chappell) Moyer, Sr.

On May 23, 1977 Jim married the former Krista G. (Smeltz) and they celebrated 46 years of marriage together this year.

He worked for Bucknell University in the Dining Services.  Jim enjoyed cooking and listening to music.

In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by three brothers; John Moyer of Milton, Tim Moyer of Sunbury and Russell Moyer of New Hampshire and one sister; Cindy Simons of Milton.

In addition to his parents, Jim was preceded in death by two sisters; Margarette Wertz and Crystal Badman.

All services for Jim are being handled privately at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
