Jane Boyer

MILLMONT - Jane K. (Kerstetter) Boyer, 84, died Monday, October 3, 2022 at her residence.

She was born in Milton on November 22, 1937 and was the daughter of the late John R. and Kathryn V. (Miller).

Jane was married to the late Edgar E. Boyer, Jr. on December 8, 1956 and they were married for 44 years until his death on September 28, 2001.

She was a graduate of Milton High School Class of 1956.  Jane was a cook for the Milton School District for more than 20 years and then went on to work for Central Oaks Camp Ground, West Milton and then Westley Forrest, Millmont.

Jane was a member of Montandon Baptist Church and enjoyed reading, baking, sewing and going to the beach spending time in the sun but most of all she loved being involved with her grandchildren and great grandchildren’s activities.

She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; Debra J. and Ronald Lose of Milton and Brenda and Twain Foust of Milton, eight grandchildren and their spouses; Krysti Lose, Ryan and Misty Lose, Corey Lose, Nicole and James Dubbs, Derek and Kristen Foust, Kendall Boyer, Kimberly Hollar and Mallory Mann, 15 great grandchildren, one brother and sister-in-law; Ralph and Sun Cha Kerstetter of Milton, four sisters and three brothers-in-law; Dorothy J. Von Blohn of West Milton, Kathryn V. and Harold Keiser of Watsontown, June S. and Harold Danowsky of West Milton and Sharon L. and Lester Erb of Milton along with numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, Jane was preceded in death by two sons; Edgar E. Boyer and Kenneth E. Boyer, one grandson; Keatyn Lose, six brothers; Elwood, John, Herbert, Dale, Charles and Kenneth Kerstetter and three sisters; Winifred Laubach, Florence Hayes and Mary Ann Brown.

All services for Jane will be handled privately at the convenience of the family.  Burial will take place at a later date in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.  Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
