Lois I. Starks

WATSONTOWN - Lois I. (Billman) Starks, 91, died Tuesday, March 4, 2025 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born on October 2, 1933 in Danville and was the daughter of the late Clarence A. and Pearl O. (Welliver) Billman.

On May 12, 1951, Lois married the late Richard L. Starks and they celebrated 38 years of marriage together until his death on August 23, 1989.

She worked for Chef Boyardee, Milton for many years and retired in 1980.

Lois enjoyed shopping and watching TV. Most of all she loved her family and enjoyed the time she was able to spend with them.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Barry W. and Vicky Starks of New Columbia, three daughters; Gloria O. Yanney of Watsontown, Kimbery J. Walker of Lewisburg and Lorie M. Starks of New Columbia, 20 grandchildren, 38 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Lois was preceded in death by two sons; David A. Starks and Richard C. Starks, one daughter; Sharee L. Snyder, one brother; Clarence Billman and one sister; Janet Kreps.

A graveside service for Lois will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, March 10, 2025 in Highland Cemetery, New Columbia. Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
