Nancy Straub

Milton - Nancy L. (McMichael) Straub, 82, died Monday, December 12, 2022 at Milton Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born on March 22, 1940 in Williamsport and was the daughter of the late Raymond and Jenny Mae McMichael.

On July 1, 1961 Nancy married the late David E. Straub, Sr. and they celebrated 46 years of marriage together until his death on March 25, 2008.

She was a graduate of Northmont High School Class of 1958.  After school she went on to work for West Branch Hosiery, Milton and the Milton Shoe Factory.

Nancy was a member of the Church of Christ in Christian Union, Lewisburg.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, watching game shows, word puzzles, reading, going on car rides and most of all she loved her cats.

She is survived by one son; David E. Straub, Jr. of Montandon and one sister; Bonnie Burkholder of Turbotville.

In addition to her parents and husband, Nancy was preceded in death by one sister; Delores Budd.

A viewing will be held from 10 – 11 A.M., Monday, December 19, 2022 at Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton, followed by a funeral at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Harry Harter officiating.  Burial will follow in Montandon Cemetery
