Paul L. Sheesley

LEWISBURG - Paul L. Sheesley, 89, died Thursday, April 23, 3035 at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.

He was born in Cowan, Buffalo Township on March 17, 1936 and was the son of the late Paul E. and Rebecca M. (Snyder) Sheesley.

Paul served his country proudly in the United States Marine Corps.

On January 5, 1957, Paul married the late Lois J. (Bingaman) and they celebrated 65 years of marriage together until her death on August 3, 2022.

He attended Mifflinburg Church of New Life, Forest Hill. Paul worked for and retired from Yorktown Industries. He enjoyed woodworking and singing. Most of all Paul loved his family and enjoyed the time he was able to spend with them.

Paul is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law; Edward S. and Tammie Sheesley of Lewisburg and Jeffrey S. Sheesley and his partner Desra Lea both of Lewisburg, one daughter and son-in-law; Patti J. and Mark Boney of Lewisburg, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and one sister and brother-in-law; Helen and Donald Wirth of Hartleton.

In addition to his parents and wife, Paul was preceded in death by two brothers; James and Marshal Sheesley and six sisters; Martha, Mary, Rebecca, Laura, Grace and Thelma.

All services for Paul will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
