Ruth Ulsh

Ruth A. (Shook) Ulsh, 76, of Picture Rocks, died Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at Milton Nursing & Rehab Center.

She was born on April 9, 1943 and was the daughter of the late Wilbert K. and Myrtle L. (Derr) Shook.

On June 8, 1974 Ruth married Jay F. Ulsh, Jr., who survives and they celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary together this year.

Ruth worked for Pennsylvania House for 23 years and retired in 2000.

She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, camping, playing cards and spending time with her family and friends.

In addition to her husband, Jay, Ruth is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law; Harold and Pamela Lyons of Hughesville and Kenneth and Dawn Lyons of Sunbury, one daughter and son-in-law; Barbara and Daniel Miller of Columbus, OH, one step daughter and her husband; Jaydette and Dale Schrader of Lewisburg, 11 grandchilden; Jeffrey (Stacey) Guyer, Michelle (Drew) Baeslack, Christopher (Tawni) Guyer, Monica (Jake) French, Amanda (Adam Wagner) Lyons, Zack Miller, Kendra Lyons, Cassandra Lyons, Alexander Frye, Hannah Frye and Zach Cawley, nine great grandchildren; Hunter, Brett, Kyleigh, Levi, Ashley, Jessica, Stetson, Aviana and Will, one brother and sister-in-law; Bernard and Helen Shook of Clarkstown and one sister and brother-in-law; Vicky and Paul Fleury of Clarkstown.

Private services for Ruth will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.  Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
