Sandra Blackwell

MILTON - Sandra L. (Yeager) Blackwell, 75, of Waynesboro formerly of Milton, died Sunday, December 16, 2018 at Chambersburg Hospital, Chambersburg.

She was born in Lewisburg and was the daughter of the late Byron W. and Gladys M. (Gundrum) Yeager.

On December 22, 1961 Sandra married the late Charles E. Russell, Jr. Later in life she married the late Frank Blackwell and they were married until his death.

Sandra was a graduate of Milton High School Class of 1962 and was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Milton.  She worked at Shop–Vac Corporation, Williamsport for 12 years and retired in 2004.  She enjoyed watching TV and loved her dogs.

Sandra is survived by one son and daughter-in-law; Timothy A. and Christine Russell of Northumberland, one daughter and son-in-law; Sherry L. and Jeffrey Grimes of Waynesboro, two grandchildren; Tiffany and Jennifer Russell, one great grandson; Ethan Hester and her best friend; Rose Beaver of White Deer.

In addition to parents and both husbands, Sandra was preceded in death by one brother; Robert Yeager.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Milton, 102 Lower Market Street, Milton, PA 17847.

A public viewing will be held from 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018 at Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton followed by the funeral at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Dale Hippensteel of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church officiating.  Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
