Shirley L. Noll

LEWISBURG - Shirley L. (Kurtz) Noll, 80, died Thursday, February 13, 2025 at Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg.

She was born on August 16, 1944 in Lewisburg and was the daughter of the late Morris K. and Jennie (Troxell) Kurtz.

On September 24, 1944 Shirley married the late Gene L. Noll and they celebrated 31 years of marriage together until his death on July 14, 1998.

Shirley was a graduate of Milton High School Class of 1962. After school she went on to work for Evangelical Community Hospital, Lewisburg in their housekeeping department. Then she worked for the Mifflinburg Area School District in the cafeteria.

She was a member of St. Andrew’s United Methodist Church, Milton and the Mifflinburg Moose. Shirley enjoyed collecting snowmen, needle point, planting flowers, pulling pranks on people, camping and going on day trips with her family.

Shirley is survived by two sons; James Kenneth LeRoy Noll of Milton and Todd E. Noll and Tina Guyer of Milton, one daughter; Pamela K. Camp of Lewisburg, eight grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and one brother; Andy Kurtz of Watsontown. 

In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by one son; Gene L. Noll, Jr., three brothers and three sisters.

A public viewing will take place from 12:00 – 1:00 P.M., Thursday, February 20, 2025 at Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton followed by a funeral service at 1:00 with Pastor Butch Woolsey officiating. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery, Milton.
