Silas Richard

NEW COLUMBIA - Silas John Richard, 5 days old died at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia on Saturday, October 1, 2022.

He was born on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and was the son of Caleb R. and Katherine H. (McConnell) of New Columbia.

In addition to his parents, Silas is survived by his paternal grandparents; Randy R. and Ida Mae Richard of Middleburg, maternal grandparents; Troy L. and Shelbia H. McConnell of Richfield and four uncles and two aunts; Nathan Richard of Port Trevorton, Isaac and Erica Richard of Middleburg, William McConnell of Biglerville and Jacob McConnell and his fiancé Kaiti Capurro both of Richfield.

Private services for Silas will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.  Burial will take place in Highland Cemetery, New Columbia.

Arrangements are being handled by Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton.
