Viola P. Weaver

MILTON - Viola P. (Tressler) Weaver, 98, died Monday, January 20, 2025 at Emmanuel Center for Nursing & Rehab, Danville.

She was born in Sunbury on August 3, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Issiac and Viola (Lower) Tressler.

Viola was married to the late John Weaver.

She worked for various places throughout the valley. Viola was very active and enjoyed gardening, working in her flower beds, cutting her grass, baking, canning, family cookouts and picnics. Most of all, she loved her family.

Viola is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law; Clarence G. and Sharon Engle of New Columbia, Daniel R. Radel of Milton, one daughter; Sandra L. Anderson of Milton, one daughter-in-law; Georgia Radel of Lewisburg, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, three sisters and one brother-in-law; Thelma Reader of Northumberland, Margaret Krouse of Kratzerville and Sarah and Bob Taylor of Liverpool.

In addition to her parents and husband, Viola was preceded in death by one son; Robert Radel and three brothers; George, Gilbert and Albert Tressler.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 29, 2025 from 11:00 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. at Dale Ranck Cremation & Funeral Care, 125 N. Front Street, Milton followed by a funeral at 12:00 with Pastor Justin Lingenfelter officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery.
